No plot line, not funny....

Just like the real Garfield character!

Amazing.

Every newbie to the site should be required to watch this so they know hot to not make a stupid review.

Pretty good, pretty good....

I loved it but I will admit it isn't as good as a few others. Some of the humor is missing.

I have to state though (nerdy video game rant :P) that I believe when Metal Gear Solid said: "War has Changed" it meant the way in which is conducted. In Fallout: "War Never Changes" it refers to the fact that no matter what war kills and the reasons behind each war are generally the same.

Other than that, very good episode.

Hmmm......

Really good animation and a song that I love still don't make this perfect. Despite the animation being well the character's faces didn't always seem to portray the emotions the song put before them to portray, such as Santa, I felt he needed to look angrier, darker. Also the song, when the characters speak it, has small pauses in certain parts that are just long & frequent enough to annoy someone.

Also, one last complaint I'm not really sure is relavent, but maybe someone else hneard it too: It seems to me the voices have been tweened a bit from the original to try and sound more like the actual character who the voice belongs too.

psychicpebbles responds:

I agree that the faces could of used a LOT more emphasis and looked how they should of when they were feeling a certain way. Also no, I really don't know why people think I messed with the song. I think it just shows that what I was trying to do worked. Since you're seeing the character and hearing their voice it makes the character more beleivable, I swear I didn't change the song. THanks for the review.

Really good but....

The animation is really good, the beat is good, I like it. But I'm really sorry to say this: This does not deserve to be #1 on Newgrounds.

Really good.

But honestly evolving in such a style and becoming the "aliens" we wonder about today seems like a very far-fetched theory.

vezanmatics responds:

not really.

Totally the same thing I thought of!

Despite the fact that I love this movie I was wondering how he mated with her and at first I did have to assume that it must be similar to earthling ways... but then the magic hidden tentacles in the hair made me question that as there are obvious differences in our anatomy.

Great parody!

Starting to slip.

It was average. To be honest this one didn't have the touch the other one's did. Mostly in the fact that in the others the interaction between character and pencil is quite a frequent thing and that is what makes this "pencilmation" but the only real interaction between pencil and character was the drawing of the glass dome. It just threw this one far off.

And another complaint but a smaller one is the inclusion of the hand. We always knew the pencil wasn't alive and had a creator behind it but the hand makes the creator feel to "there", if you will.

Overall: 7/10.

perfect anime parody

Loved every scond and at the end I nearly cried from laughing!

Great followup.

I don't care what people say about this episode or the toilet one. The unique aspect of this countdown is looking at things you never see in real video game count downs. That is what makes this series very unique and original.
